What are the challenges that people with disabilities face, and how can we advocate for fair representation and opportunities for people with disabilities?

How can we utilize art to both advocate for teen mental health in the Castilleja community, as well as to extend our reach beyond the circle by engaging with under-resourced communities, and providing them the means of self-expression through creativity?

What are the most effective ways for our ACE Org to close the confidence gap between genders and raise the voices of disadvantaged girls through artistic communication from a young age?

What are the underlying factors contributing to the widening wealth gap between low-income and higher-income families in the Bay Area, and in what different ways is the St. Francis Center addressing the needs of these families and working to close this gap? And how can Community Works’ members begin to address these underlying factors and work with the Saint Francis Center to close this gap?

How can the Castilleja Green Team educate, engage, and empower the Castilleja and broader Bay Area Community to take action on the climate crisis through public awareness campaigns, on-campus initiatives, and direct advocacy with local leaders?

As a group of students passionate about supporting younger generations in accessing education opportunities, how can we productively address existing educational inequities and bridge academic gaps through impactful mentorship within our community and beyond?

Special note: Members will commit to approximately 13 half-days on Saturdays in the school year to deliver a program that the group designs.

What are the root causes and contributing factors of childhood illiteracy in low-income communities, and what can be done to prevent and address this issue effectively? What gaps are present in existing programs and what can we do to address those gaps?

What are the challenges faced by families with children experiencing a medical crisis, and how can we create a positive and supportive community to help them manage these challenges? What education and resources are available to help families navigate the healthcare system, and how can these healthcare systems improve their support and services?

In what ways can we instill habits that reinforce well-being and destigmatize seeking help for mental health for Castilleja students? How can we best counsel our peers during their challenging times?

In this ACE Org, students are trained by our counseling team in deep-listening and self-care skills, in order to reduce mental health stigma and support Casti peers.
